1. Aloe is a natural humectant with antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. It's also an excellent moisturizer; I use it daily in my Aloe vera face wash. You can shop for it here: https://amzn.to/42XsL5y.
2. Witch-hazel is a plant-based substance made from the witch hazel shrub. It's great to use instead of water when making bath bombs, as it doesn't cause as much fizzing loss when adding more moisture to the mix. You can shop for it here: https://amzn.to/3T02a3n.

3. Fresh and dried herbs are perfect for homemade beauty recipes. If you need to improve at gardening, opt for dried herbs. My favorites are chamomile, eucalyptus leaves, lavender, and lemon balm. You can shop for them here: https://www.amazon.com/stores/USWellnessNaturals/USWellnessNaturals/page/C9EA9C4D-06DD-40A9-835D-85C2572BCD5F?ref_=cm_sw_r_ud_ast_store_KFKS8QSGP3M44P02BNW2&store_ref=bl_ast_dp_brandLogo_sto.
4. Carrier oils contain essential vitamins and antioxidants that promote healthy skin. Popular carrier oils such as apricot, jojoba, grapeseed, and sweet almonds are known to prevent other ingredients from sinking to the bottom and ensure an even application. You can shop for them here.
5. Loose-leaf tea is a great natural ingredient for your beauty and hair care routine. It has many benefits for our skin and hair. Adding tea bags to your bath can be incredibly soothing

and relaxing, especially after a long day. I can't wait to try that spiced chai latte bath recipe. Body butter is fantastic for the skin, and it comes in various textures and consistencies that provide multiple benefits. They are all derived from natural sources like fruit trees and kernels. Cocoa, Shea, mango, and avocado are my favorite ingredients in soaps, lotions, lip balms, body washes, and creams.
7. Honey is a natural humectant that draws in moisture, making it a perfect addition to any skincare routine. It's also known for its antibacterial properties, which can help prevent

acne and other skin infections. Additionally, honey is packed with antioxidants that can protect the skin from environmental stressors like pollution and UV rays. Adding a cup of raw honey to your bath can moisturize, soften, and soothe your skin. Raw honey contains natural enzymes and vitamins that are great for skin care.
8. Vegetable glycerin is another excellent natural ingredient for beauty products. It's a great moisturizer and can help improve the texture of your skin.
9. Epsom salts are known for their powerful ability to relieve aches and pains. They break down the build-up of lactic acid, which causes muscle pain. Adding a ½ cup of Epsom salt to your bath can help relieve pain and soothe your skin.
10. Goat milk

soap base is a great all-natural ingredient for making soap. Unlike other soap-based types that can sink to the bottom, it suspends additives evenly throughout the soap. Adding lavender buds or chamomile flowers from your garden can enhance the soap's skin-loving benefits.
11. Beeswax is an excellent way to thicken beauty products. I use it to make salves and lip

balms. It's a potent antiseptic that reduces inflammation and inhibits the growth of bacteria on the skin.
12. Oatmeal is a great all-natural skin-softening addition to the bath. The cellulose and fiber from the oats make an effective skin soother for itchy, irritated, dry skin. Grounding oatmeal and suspending it in liquid creates colloidal oatmeal that is more readily absorbed into the skin.
13. Pink Himalayan salt is known for the nutritional value of its abundant trace minerals and

electrolytes and for relieving aches and pains. Mineral salts break down the build-up of lactic acid, which causes muscle pain.
14. Vitamin E oil protects cells from free radical damage. It's a superb nutrient and moisturizer for the skin and hair. You can use it to make natural skin care products such as tightening eye creams, hand lotion, and heel salves.
15. Arrowroot powder or starch is a powder extracted from the roots of the arrowroot plant. It's an excellent herbal remedy for various skin issues and is high in potassium, iron, and B-complex vitamins. Arrowroot powder also absorbs moisture and odors, making it an excellent ingredient for natural deodorants.
16. Rose Water is a beauty ingredient like no other. Rose is known to sooth, soften, brighten, and tighten the skin. It plays a vital role in DiY beauty recipes.
